Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground beef (the leaner the better)
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp mustard
- 3/4 c ketchup
- 1/4 c bbq sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbls cider vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- hamburger buns
Directions:
- Yup, you guessed it – throw everything into your slow cooker!
- Let your slow cooker work it’s magic for 3-4 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low, stirring occasionally, and voila!
- If your mixture starts looking dried out at any time, just add in 1-2 Tbls water to make it juicier. If it is too juicy, leave the lid off of your slow cooker for the last half hour and let some of the liquids evaporate to thicken it up. Serve up a healthy portion on a toasted hamburger bun and dinner is served my friends!
