Grilled California Turkey Club Sandwich

Ingredients
  • turkey, sliced {leftover turkey works great!}
  • 8 strips baked bacon, cut in half {2 per sandwich}
  • 2 Tbls sour cream
  • 1 avocado
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • lettuce {optional}
  • tomato slices {optional}
  • bread {we use sourdough}

Directions :
  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Butter one side of a piece of bread and place it butter-side down on the skillet.
  • Add a slice of cheese and then layer bacon and turkey.
  • Top with another slice of bread that has been generously buttered.
  • Flip the sandwich when lightly browned.
  • Grill opposite side until nicely browned and remove from skillet.
  • Meanwhile, mix together 1 ripe avocado and 2 Tbls of sour cream. I use about 1/4 of an avocado per sandwich.
  • Spread the avocado mixture on the piece of bread that does not have melted cheese.
  • Layer on lettuce and tomato if desired. Enjoy!

Dole Teriyaki Pineapple Turkey Burgers Recipe tropicalfruit CBias


Ingredients:
  • 1 can (20 oz.) DOLE® Pineapple Slices
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 pounds ground turkey or chicken
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 8 whole grain hamburger buns
  • 8 slices Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese

Makes: 8 servings

Tip: To make 4 servings, use 1 can (8 oz.) DOLE Pineapple Slices and cut remaining
ingredients in half.

Prep: 25 min.

Directions:

  • Drain pineapple; reserve 1/2 cup juice. Reserve 2 pineapple slices for snack or other use.
  • Stir together teriyaki sauce and reserved pineapple juice in small bowl.
  • Mix together turkey, ginger, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup teriyaki mixture. Shape into 8 patties.
  • Grill patties, brushing with remaining teriyaki mixture, until brown and cooked through. Place pineapple slices on grill and cook until lightly golden brown.
  • Serve burgers on buns with cheese and pineapple.

Sriracha Turkey Meatloaf

Sriracha Turkey Meatloaf

 

Ingredients :-
  1.     1 tbsp olive oil
  2.     1 onion, diced
  3.     3 garlic cloves, minced
  4.     Salt & pepper
  5.     8oz sliced mushrooms
  6.     1 lb ground turkey
  7.     1 cup panko bread crumbs
  8.     1.5 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
  9.     1.5 tbsp sriracha
  10.     1 egg, beaten
  11.     1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  12.     1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  13.     Cooking spray

Glaze Recipe

  1.     2 cups ketshup
  2.     1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  3.     1 .5 tbsp sriracha
  4.     1 tbsp brown sugar
  5.     2 tbsp dijon mustard

Directions:

  •     Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  •     In a saute pan, add oil and when it’s at a medium heat, add onion, garlic and mushrooms. Season with salt & pepper. Saute until onions are soft, about 8 minutes. Let the  veggie mixture cool off for 5 minutes.
  •     Add the veggie mixture, ground turley and the next 6 ingredients to a bowl. Mix the meatloaf with your hands. Spray a medium size casserole dish or broiler pan with cooking spray. Form meatloaf into a 9×5 inch rectangle.
  •     To make the glaze, add all of the ingredients and stir until smooth. Taste and add more sriracha or soy sauce if needed. Top glaze over meatloaf. Cook in the oven for 40-50 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf is 180 degrees. Let the meatloaf set for 10 minutes before serving.

Mediterranean Turkey Sandwich

Mediterranean Turkey Sandwich



  1.     10 oz can artichoke hearts, drained
  2.     1/2 cup roasted red peppers
  3.     1/4 cup onion
  4.     1/2 banana peppers, mild
  5.     1-2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  6.     1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  7.     Dash of red pepper flakes
  8.     8 sandwich rolls
  9.     1 lb deli turkey
  10.     reduced fat feta cheese crumbles
  11.     lettuce
  12.     shredded carrots

Directions:

  •     In a blender or food processor, add artichokes and the next 6 items. Blend until is a paste consistency.
  •     Warm sandwich rolls in the oven. Split and spread both sides of bread with the artichoke mixture.
  •     Top with turkey, feta cheese crumbles, lettuce and shredded carrots.
