White Chocolate Valentine’s Day Spoonfuls of Love

White Chocolate Valentine’s Day Spoonfuls of Love

We’re calling these “Spoonfuls of Love” because what else could you call a spoon filled to the brim with white chocolate and sprinkled with all sorts of delicious candy? These sweet treats will be perfect to hand out on Valentine’s Day - the kids can eat the candy right off the spoon or use it as a hot chocolate stirrer at home.

To make sure you get the candies set up in the chocolate, you’re going to want to do this in batches. Reece is pretty proficient at sprinkling candy {lots of practice!} so I did just two batches of 12. We ended up with 24 spoons total.

  • Set up desired number of spoons so that the bowl of the spoon is level.

Directions :

Melt 1/2 of a 12 oz bag of white chocolate chips and transfer to a bag. Cut a corner off the bag. Pipe the chocolate into the spoon – don’t fill it all the way! Once you sprinkle candies on the chocolate it will fill the spoon even more. Tap the spoon to level the chocolate and sprinkle whatever candies you have onto the spoons. We used M&Ms, conversation hearts, and all kind of pretty sprinkles to jazz ‘em up!

  • Reece had so much fun decorating – he took it very seriously.

  • Reece was very generous in his sprinkling and they turned out great!

We packaged up the spoons in small bags and tied them with a ribbon. We used a punch to cut out tags and a small heart punch to cut out a heart from the tag. We used glue dots to adhere the small heart to the center of the bow.
