Homemade Cheese Crackers
For the crackers:
- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 6 ounces of sharp white cheddar (you could use yellow) grated
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 2 tbsp of butter
- 2 tsp of sea salt
- in the bowl of a food processor combine the flour and salt
- add the cheese and pulse until well combined
- add the butter - pulse until you have a course meal
- while pulsing gradually add the milk
- this will form the dough
- roll out to about 1/4 inch thickness (on a well floured surface)
- cut into squares (I did owls as well)
- bake on an UN-greased sheet @ 425 for 8 minutes
- even better than those other crackers
Enjoy!
